Introduction

 

- Car tuning has attracted attention in recent years due to deregulation of car tuning business and fostering of new industry. Carbata simulation service enables tuning consumers to check performance change in real time when selecting tuning parts on internet System. Therefore, dynamic characteristics analysis and fatigue characteristics analysis for life cycle prediction are required for evaluation of comfort and vibration characteristics essential to system implementation. As a result, a database (DB) was constructed using not only physical and mechanical tests but also high cycle fatigue tests and low cycle fatigue tests

 

 

 

Evaluation of Material Physical Properties using Ultra Micro Hardness Tester

 

-Ultra Micro Hardness Tester is a tester for evaluating the physical properties of fine specimens. This tester is suitable for measuring the local hardness of materials and metal structures plated with thin films of several ㎛ thickness and mechanical properties of materials.

-The coefficient like the formula is measured through the microhardness test. This value is reported to be correlated with the Young's modulus. In the present study, this value was regarded as the Young's modulus E of the actual material

 

 

Evaluation of fatigue characteristics

Experiments were carried out at 103-106 cycles with high cycle fatigue and ultrasonic fatigue at 104-106 cycles.

In order to replace many experimental times and expensive fatigue tests, the fatigue limit is predicted using tensile properties and the results are compared with experimental results and Basquin equations
